Old World Wisdom
"Bevi, morrire. Non bevi, morrire lo stesso." This is an old Italian saying, meaning "Drink, and die. Don't drink, die anyway."
These people are sure colourful. They also have some interesting concepts about food. On Tuesday night, among other things, I ate a big ol' bowl of snails. Yesterday for lunch I ate horse. I can say with certainty that the snails were more interesting. Horse, despite it's very nutritious diet, is rather bland.
Who knows what tonight will hold, but all this food combined with alcohol and sugar is really taxing my body and mind.
